..change that your signature cuz the prayer is not working for you...
Tyranny:
"Removal of the Federal Government’s exclusive control of the national minimum wage and stamp duty collection as well as decentralisation of the prisons and police structures"

Selfish western hooligans want that? I'm not a pastor, but I see 'em westerners weepin' bitterly! #cool

This is good

If we can have a Nigeria where every region is allowed to pilot it's affairs and grow at its own pace, then all these recklessness at the center willl stop...

Those who want to focus on cows and condone banditry can freely do so at their own peril.

Those who want to move ahead shouldn't be dragged down by cows , quota system and born to rule mentality.

Develop and grow at your own pace.

Really with state control minimum wage, stamp duty and correctional centres abi...... And that's a development and a state growing at their own pace ba... When they cannot even utilized security votes funds well... And we have talked about Paris funds and all the recalled loots shared for this self centered governors oooo....

Most of your list is non-Fulani/non-Hausa states. I can see that you Hausa-Fulanis are even leeching off the minority tribes of the North. The day those guys wake up and form their own regions, you leeches will be rendered completely useless.

No sir. The blame attributed to the centre for everything, to the President for every wrong we see today will abate. More power means more responsibility and people will put pressure on their governors whom they elect without sentiment.

SOUTHWEST governors mean serious business.
As an Igbo man,I can confidently pronounce SOUTHEAST governors the most useless set of Governors in the history of Africa!
They are waiting for the fulani caliphate to tell them what next to do.
Very disappointing my bro. I pray they don't sabotage this struggle for a progressive constitution with their cowardly disposition.

Good job south western governors. This is what we have been clamoring for. Time to mean serious business. From the way things stand right now, SW is preparing for any breakup or restructuring. Time to be accountable

People want states more than regions.
That's a big lie...was there any referendum on that?...or you have turned to "people"?...Most states are not viable, but as regions just like before there will be healthy competition.
Mind you,the states will still exist but under their various regions...For equity, there should be equal number of states. The regions should have the power to create LGAs.
Re: South-West Governors Demand State-Controlled Minimum Wage, Stamp Duty, Prisons by hansomb: 1:22am On Jul 14
In reality they cannot implement it. Only Lagos and maybe Oyo and Ogun can implement them. Some of those states have not paid workers salary talk more of minimum wage implementation. And if implementated they may be worst than federal police. Better the devil you know than the Angels you don't know.

Lagos LL come to their rescue bro.. Lagos LL even license and explore the bitumen in Ondo, invest and grow the cocoa in Ondo and commercialise it .

Revive the dead Seaport in Ondo too..

Right in ur eyes SW will develop so quick.
Re: South-West Governors Demand State-Controlled Minimum Wage, Stamp Duty, Prisons by Speaktruth88: 6:02am On Jul 14
If they are really concerned about minimum wage, they can pass bills in the states to increase it, unless they are trying to reduce it.

All this is about money, collecting tax has nothing to do with federal government, see Lagos state. This is just noise

Have you seen a map of Nigeria? You people just keep going backwards. What you are proposing was done and the people of states advocated for their own states as the structure wasn’t benefiting them. One region like North West is the size of the entire South South and South East how can there be the same number of states?

I swear una just dey come here open mouth like waaaahhhhh no critical thinking behind it

Which region the size of what?
Keep deceiving your self with land mass filled with mostly redundant population.
Many LGAs created on the basis of land mass with only about 10 families...In the south mainly in SS and SE,you will see one LGA that is as large enough as 4LGAs in the North with optimum productivity while one large desert with few, largely unproductive and scattered human inhabitants is giving an LGA.
