A refreshing thread. I will be right back.
Xbolmax:
well, nice idea
But kind of turning everyone in the class to robot grin grin

I don't even understand. it seems to me that only the writing materials (books) will be sent to their neurons, not the writings itself.

Education comes under scrutiny as books are fed into a grinder, possibly “digitised,” to be sent by electric current as sound directly to the students’ headphones. This technological teaching marvel doesn’t stop one student from looking out the window, though

Did I just time -traveled?

Good thing is I'm back.

We may be thinking we have seen it all in this generation, but in the next 100 years, there'll be so many new inventions that will put most things we see as magnificent this day as obsolete.

Unfortunately, most if not all of us on nairaland today won't witness it undecided

Retro futurism.

I love this stuff, my favourites are the industrial age futurism aka Steampunk and the 1980's futurism aka Cyberpunk.
