This looting is as result of having too many poor people living in the midst of plenty and abundance.....south Africa is well developed and organize but the wealth doesn't go round.
That's just the point my brother. Same thing applies to Nigeria and other African countries

Arresting Jacob Zuma was a terrible mistake, his people & supporters are seeing it as witch-hunt & oppression.
And na dem dey unleash these riots & destruction in South Africa.

This explains why ex presidents are never arrested/prosecuted/jailed in nigeria.
Just imagine if buhari arrested and jailed Jonathan for any reason, Niger delta militants would have destroyed nigeria by now.

WISDOM IS PROFITABLE TO DIRECT!!!

Even in advanced democratic countries, they rarely touch ex presidents. As Trump crazy reach, Biden won't even encourage the justice department to prosecute him directly because of his crazy supporters could cause wahala, that is why they are only going after his associates and family members with questionable dealings.

It's like an unwritten rule

From comments here, one can understand that those looters are already in our mist defending what's really appalling and an eye soar.

They should grow up Pls. Yes, Nigerians looted but not to the extent of looting coffins, dildos ,ATM machine, police officers joining to loot, traffic lights etc

I taught Nigerians are crazy but I have seen that this South Africa's are backward and the craziest of them all.

More statues for Zuma! cheesy

Don't forget there is no much difference between SA protest and looting with Endsars protest barbarism where some people went to some extent to eat police officers murdered by the same protesters; there were series of arsons, killings, and looting of goods base on ethnic identity. So u just need to shut up, u're not in anyway different. When last have u seen such nonsense attitude in the North?

Don't be surprise that the soldiers and the reserve force are among those looting people's properties. The people of that country just continue to disgrace their selves internationally. Am sure that investors will start running from that country. Shameless people that can't do without looting people's properties.

And that is why African Countries keep growing at a very slow pace. Our ethnic diversity within the same Country is a major impediment to our growth. The whites made sure they delineated their Countries based on similar ethno-cultural values and similar interests. Imagine lumping France, Germany and UK as one Country, ethnic tension would've destroyed them by now.

Stop talking trash. Zuma was sent to prison for contempt of court. He handed himself over to the police. No one should be above the law. South Africa, just like Nigeria, is sitting on a keg of gun powder.

Economic innequality is their bane. So much wealth and luxury juxtaposed with so much squalor and poverty.

During xenophobic attacks looting also occurs.
It's their national pastime.

Zuma's home was beseiged by police earlier in order to arrest him.
The police faced heavy resistance from locals, and they backed down knowing he will eventually be in their custody.

Finally, Zuma is in jail.
That's why his people and supporters are rioting.

This shows why ex presidents in nigeria are NEVER jailed.

Mention me when a ex president in Nigeria or america is sent to prison...

We are still waiting for them to jail Jonathan for the massive looting that APC said happened during his administration.

We are also waiting for Trump to be jailed for all the crimes the democrats said he committed during his presidency.
