Hi, I am an African American woman who has been dating an Igbo Nigerian man in his 40’s for 7 months. He began to say he has decided that he loves me after 2 months and proposed after 3 months. He has introduced me to his best friend (he is an orphan) and tell me about his work, speaks of our future, we discussed marriage, expectations and our future together. He says he wants to meet my family and take me to Nigeria. But he says that he must pay bride price because it’s disrespectful for him to expect my family to just give me for free. He calls me his Queen ,calls and message me all through the day.
I have 2 questions:
1. We have video called only once, is this normal? He gets upset when I ask for more video calls.
2. How should I greet him when I meet him at the airport and see him in person for the first time?

Just keep it simple...
Give him a hug and hold his hands..
Get to know him on a physical level...
There are so many things you need to know for yourself...

Thanks for the reply’s... what does this mean when he calls me his Queen, sweetheart, baby, his heartbeat, and he says he is me and I am him. How can I be sure is not a scam. I tell him I have no money he says he loves me anyway and will do so forever. He won’t come until he completes a business transaction he says so he can stay and vacation for 2-3 months while we prepare me (passport, visa, etc.) to take me and present me to ( he refers to it as our) country. Are these signs of being in truthful love for an Igbo man of wealth? I have never dated a Nigerian man before nor was I looking when we met. HELP!!!

Xxx123xxx:It’s been 8 months and I’m still not sure if it’s genuine. It feels real but I do have Apprehensions. He is reluctant to video again, he won’t do selfie’s. I need to know how to tell if it’s a scammer before I go to far.
