I think it's a badge of credibility with Gen Z kids to be as brazen, brash and disrespectful as can be. It doesn't help that they're the first generation to combine a carefree attitude backed up by recreational use of weird drugs with a very abnormal high success rate in academics and even life itself e.g Abeg, Patricia and Piggyvest are Gen Z companies owned by goofy-looking youths.

But like the rest of us, they'll be wisened and humbled by age. I know you love Angel but the girl needs to watch it. Boma was very close to beating the exuberance out of her, that you're in the same space wearing silly Abeg pajamas and eating food provided by sponsors DOESN'T mean you're truly on the same level, there's still life after the show and such a thing as respect in the sense of courtesy to everyone you meet different from the type you earn. Haven't you noticed that it's the females that usually take advantage of this "We are all equal in Big brother's house" to be very provocative? U see that is the misconception....that they are in biggies house still doesn't remove the fact that they aren't equal status wise, age wise and career wise....they r just equal as regards the rules that has to do with the game.

In my office , we go by first name basis, that doesn't mean you don't accord respect to those obviously senior to you. It takes a well trained individual to give respect to those its due....

Have u been in a situation where people far senior to you in age report to u...while u r senior professionally...u won't throw away the fact that they are older....and how u relate with them will be slightly different from those far younger...

It's wisdom....its training....its discipline
