Nigerian Muslims living in Cross River State have been advised to emulate the sacrifice, Obedience, and Loyalty as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim as they join other faithful to celebrate Eid El-Kabir Celebrations.

This as Muslims have been advised to key into Governor Ben Ayade's Vision for New Cross River Development in partnership with the APC Federal Government at the Centre.

Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade on Muslim Affairs, Alhaji Tanimu Hassan, advised in a Sallah message to the Muslim community in Cross River State, describing the 2021 Eid El-Kabir Celebrations as a unique one because "today is exactly Two Months that the Governor takes Cross River to the Center".

Hassan while calling on the Muslims to always support the Governor and leader of Cross River State and the entire South-South, also enjoin them to always live in peace with their host communities.

Ayade's Aide advised the Ummah to adhere to the Covid-19 protocols as they Celebrate the feast, reminding them that the third phase of covid-19 is still with us.

He enjoined them to observe the known protocols of physical distancing, Washing of Hands, and use of face masks as part of requirements for any religious gathering in Cross River State.

Hassan also reminded the ummah that the health of every Muslim is important to the Government of Cross River State led by Governor Ben Ayade saying" it is only when we are healthy that we can practice our religion in line with the dictate of Allah".

"For us as Muslims, Governor Ben Ayade has given us a special place by creating the Department of Muslim Affairs in his office, which is the first of its kind in the whole of Southern Nigeria.

"We should use the period of Eid to offer prayers to Allah, Our Country Nigeria and the Government and People of Cross River State for the peaceful coexistence and togetherness as People.

"To all the Muslim Umah, I encourage you to emulate the virtues of sacrifice, total obedience, love and care, and loyalty as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim which is the whole essence of this celebration," the statement said.

Ayade shouldn't be making such comments, sacrifice, loyalty and obedience only mean one thing.
