It's not impossible anymore that the government can ban or suppress any voice they are not impressed with- Twitter has tasted such treatment, even with its so called foreign power effect.
Nairaland has a lot of users who constantly rain insult on the government and their close allies. Twitter's ban can be linked to the removal of a presidents tweet from the platform since it reportedly violated their rules.
Also remember the government has been keenly determined to suppress some quarters of the populace through plans such as anti-fake news, social media bill, warning of news reporting agencies among a less safe space for journalist in the nation.
Nairaland is definitely on the radar and cannot be ruled out of possible ban.
Do you agree

I won’t be suprised if they do, it is the number 1 platform for promoting discord, ethnic tension and divisions in Nigeria, it is fast becoming a very dangerous platform to the security of our country based on comments moderators allow us to post.
Even if you were not tribalistic coming to nairaland and seeing insults being hurled at ur tribe will automatically make you become tribalistic in defence of ur tribe just like me.
