Giuseppe Marotta, a senior figure at Inter Milan, has stated that the Serie A club is interested in signing Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.

The Spaniard is thought to be looking for a move away from North London after losing his spot as Arsenal’s first-choice right-back, and the Nerazzurri are said to be first in line to recruit him.

Inter are keeping an eye on Bellerin as they look to replace Achraf Hakimi, according to the club’s chief executive.

Following Ashley Young’s departure, Marotta declined to rule out a move for Manchester United’s out-of-favour defender Alex Telles.

Guiseppe told Sky Italia: “Hector Bellerin is a player we’re watching… But I’m afraid I’m at a loss for words.

“Alex Telles?” you might wonder. I can’t rule out the possibility, but we’ll have to wait and see. After trading Hakimi, we’re now planning to keep our finest players.”

Last season, Alex was second fiddle to Luke Shaw at Old Trafford, and he is expected to leave after only one season, but the full-back has hinted that he wants to stay and battle for his spot at United.
