Just thinking of what business would thrive in this current economic situation. The thought of music studio came to mind.
Also, what does it require to start?

Music studio? Tread very carefully.

Unless you have a sure means to secure stream of clientele. Location, network and investment level also matter.

Same for rehearsal studios which is a better bet generally, at least in my opinion but I’ve come across a relatively new (about one year plus) rehearsal studio barely getting any work.

Much of what we hear as published music is produced in bedrooms and private spaces. There is still the need for professional studios at least for mixing and mastering though.
