Great friends, truely we are on a journey here on earth,time and opportunities once lost can never be regained.
Have you ever wondered why people waste pricious time and efforts doing the right things at the wrong time?,..only just to realised that it has been nothing but striving after the wind!
A friend was sent on an urgent Message by his father to buy him food from a street, just a stone thrown,he left on a hurry knowing the urgency of the matter,after he succeeded on procuring the food,on his way back home,he passed where his friends where playing foot ball,he watched for while and get carried away,became interested and indicate his interest...throwing caution to the wind,he left the food in care of unknown friends as he hurried into the field.
Really he was indeed the man of the game,as they cheered him,really he played his heart out ,without remembering his mission,he dribbled his opponents, created chances,and scored goal,his skill fulness changed the scenero,of the entire game.
And finally, the game was over,everybody,both the loosers,and the winners went their different homes to their parents. Suddenly, it dawn on our friend that by now,his parents mighty be worried about him....on getting to the place where he kept the food,unfortunately,he met an empty plate.. looking more confused,picking up the plates, like a dream, all the excitement, clapping fans,the opponents he was playing for or against ,even the ball itself are all gone!
Regrets,fears,tears and sorrow cloud his heart,as he made his way in the dark backhome to his worried parents ......and finally it dawned on him the implications of a wasted time/effort!!! Beloveth, are we different from the young man here? Are where he has appointed you you to be? Are you still wasting precious time here on earth...note very soon,so soon,the time will be over,at this end...Refine your mission before you lost the privilege to do so...SHALOM!!!
