Why do some africans call fellow blacks monkey? If we protest when being called so by whites why commit same bluff?

I said Monkey impersonator. BTW if a Caucasian calls you a Monkey. Call him a Monkey too! After all they are the ones who created  the feeble theory about humans evolving from being primates to more advanced beings.

For me, call me names, get handled my own way. That has been my policy and it's been very effective. Just that I feel sad when brothers run against the tide.
One love mate!

Re: WAFU Cup Final: Nigeria Vs Togo On Saturday May 14 @ 4pm by MeGaStReEt: 8:45pm On May 14, 2011
you all need to have seen our goal keeper, whats his name again, Rotimi Shittt. All the 3 goals the Togolese scored could have been saved by a better goal keeper, his ball distribution is zero, yet he can't save a direct shot to save his life
Re: WAFU Cup Final: Nigeria Vs Togo On Saturday May 14 @ 4pm by ddippset(m): 10:04pm On May 14, 2011
why is it that whenever we win, we do not look for our opponent's undoing or mistakes as our reason for winning instead we tell ourselves we are too good but whenever we lose we blame it on someone or something. pls let the goalie be. he is good and that's the reason he was chosen. nigeria does not have a monopoly of winning. rule is , win some , lose some.

Despite the result, I love what I saw from the SE. They were hungry, determined and fought till the very end.
We played with 10 men for majority of the match and we were still able to match the Togelese.
Re: WAFU Cup Final: Nigeria Vs Togo On Saturday May 14 @ 4pm by semid4lyfe(m): 10:16pm On May 14, 2011
Our goalie na real "agbonibasket". All the goals we conceded could have been saved by a better goalkeeper. We'd have even fared better without a goalkeeper in post than that yeye Sunday Rotimi grin

Also, that Abdulwasiu Sowemimo (no 6) guy na pathetic excuse for a defender. We're in trouble if that's one of the best central defenders we have in the league.

Gege Soriola (no 5) who had been solid and put out stellar performances through out this competition had his own insane "Sanni Keita" moment. He got a silly red card as the offense he commited to get it was so unnecessary. Anyway, he still a good player and I hope he gets invited to the main Super Eagles team.

I wonder why the whole defence line depended so much on the off-side trap to defend through out this match & competition? Setting offside traps always is a lazy way to defend as it may be sprung anytime by clever forwards or the referee may not blow for a legit offside. This happened a couple of times and if Togo's strikers had being more clinical in front of goal, we'd have lost by a wider margin.

For me, the only positives in this team were Ekhigo Ehiosun [no 8], Gege Soriola (no 5), Osas Okoro (no 9), Uzonye (no 7) & the injured captain Chibuzor Okonkwo. White Agwuocha & Stanley Okoronkwo who played mostly as substitutes also showed potential. All the other players are shyte and should never wear our jersey again.

By the way, is it not ironic that this home-based lads are older than the main Super Eagles players they're supposed to replace? Ibenegbu, Rotimi, Sowemimo, Jaiyeola etc all look v.old facially and it shows in their game.

Finally, Samson Siasia needs to go to Mountain of Fire & Miracles (MFM) to do deliverance and cast out the spirit of "second place" grin. . .WYC 2005, Beijing 2008 & now WAFU Cup 2011. Make hin nor go carry us win Silver for Gabon/Equatorial Guinea AFCON 2012 o tongue

It's so sad Siasia had to lose his 100% record this way cry sad

making it to the final is delivering little? Why do Nigerians think that the Super Eagles must win every time. Even the best teams in the world lose sometimes. I didn't watch the game, but if what I read is true--that is, the SE played with 10 men for the majority of the game--then a 3-2 score is respectable. Why don't you go and play 10 men and expect to win.

i will forgive u for dont know syte about football. If u did, then your argument wouldnt av come up. I will also excuse u for u didnt watch the match, u didnt know that only 5 teams featured and that the match was played in Abeokuta. Havent u seen a team play with 10 men and yet win? For your info, the SE were a man down for 25mins b4 the Togolese got their own red card.

that is all you can get from Siasia, 2nd place. Let us stop complaining about the keeper, is it not the coach's 1st choice?
