A significant cause of concern for most organizations when implementing GRC solutions is the cost. They believe it is for large companies, but this assumption is not valid. There are ways to deploy SAP GRC successfully without breaking your bank, and we would explain it to you in just six steps.

SAP has an approach to implementing each solution, and one of those approaches is Accelerated SAP (ASAP) methodology. This approach describes the critical steps for implementation.

1. Project Preparation

This is the first step for implementing SAP GRC. This preparation helps us determine the customer’s goals and how we can help them achieve their goals. In this phase we:

- Create an SAP Security and GRC project plan.
- Build an implementation team.
- Establish the best practice style to employ.
- Business Blueprint

This business blueprint is a strategic plan of how your business maps out into one or more SAP GRC solutions. You will consider the organization unit, master data, business scenarios, business processes, and process steps.

- Realisation
The purpose of this final preparation phase is to complete the last preparation testing user training, system management, cutover activities to finalize the readiness to go live. This phase also serves to resolve all crucial open issues.

- Go-live!

The system is officially available to the users at this stage, who can then initiate transactions in the system. In enterprise circles, the term go-live associates itself with systems that help manage business functions such as ERM, HRM, financials, marketing systems, etc.

- Post-Production support

Although this is the final phase of the implementation, it is as important as any set of activities during the development phase. This phase manages the daily system operations and ensures the system is doing what it needs to do.

Conclusion

With all these steps, you would ensure that the customer achieves their goal by assisting them with a smooth transition and support.
