GODWIN MADUKA FOUNDATION CONTINUES VISITS TO CATHOLIC CHURCHES, ASSURES OF WOMEN AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT.


In Anambra State days ago, several religious groups, churches and the Catholic Women Organization across various districts had thrown their support behind the Candidacy of Dr. Godwin Maduka. This was comfirmed during the visit by Dr. Godwin Maduka and team member of his humanitarian Organization to Churches on the 23rd of July 2021.

According to reports, the Godwin Maduka Foundation visited several Parish, including the Chukwubueze Parish in Osomalla, St Jeo the Worker Parish in Atani, St Michael Catholic Church, Iba Pope Awada and the Holy Family Catholic Church Odume Layout in Obosi. The visit was in view of joining women in celebrating of the August Meeting in Anambra state.

During the Visit, Godwin Maduka received prayers from Members of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) and Religious Leaders across the several Parishes visited by the Foundation. They prayed seeking God's success for the Governorship vision of Dr. Maduka. The Foundation also shared its integrated vision to remain committed in the empowerment of Ndi Anambra, with assurance of several opportunities in areas of women and youth empowerment, so as to support the overall sporadic growth and advancement of Anambra state.

Speaking during one of the visits Dr. Godwin Maduka noted that his Administration will empower women and children affairs, so as to tackle the routine challenges faced by women in the state, especially in areas of quality education, marginalisation in marriage, unemployment, poverty and amongst other vices.

He therefore assured Ndi Anambra of his development intentions to explore the agribusiness value chain, with a visionary zeal to create employment and empowerment opportunities for women, youths and young Entrepreneurs. Members of the Catholic Women Association in Anambra state have also on the other hand assured Godwin Maduka of their support ahead of the forthcoming Governorship elections.

However, Rev. Fr. David Ozoemena, the Parish Priest of St Benedict Catholic Church Iba Pope Awada appreciated Dr Godwin Maduka for his huge commitments to the growth of the Church and encouraged all Anambranians to join this history that is about to be made. Also, Very Rev. Father Vincent Ezenweka of Holy Trinity Catholic church Iba Pope Awada called on Ndi Anambra to choose wisely during this 2021 Anambra election, as he encouraged them to look beyond personal interest, but rather the general interest of the people of Anambra state which Dr. Maduka is commited to deliver.
