For Benin, it seems they are respecting rules of law compared to what we are experiencing here in Nigeria. Sunday Igboho trial at Benin Vs Nnandi Kanu Trial in Nigeria, both cases were yesterday and we all are seeing the differences.

Dis is d reason why d 9jarian gov't really want to extradite him back home, because dey knw dey won't justice in a country where dia is total respect for human right nd d rule of law. Its also why many people r leaving dis country because of injustice, police n DSS Brutality, show of excess force on fundamental human rights, inequality, unemployment nd d list keep going on. Nigeria nd Nigerians will see worse in comin year.

Dear fellow nairalander. Please let's face the realistic at once please. Benin republic at this time are negotiating with Nigeria govt on certain terms in return for handing over Mr igboho. It's a pity you guys didn't know how govt things work, the bonds between them are stronger than amstad chain. They will extradite him once their demands are met by the counterpart. My own friend used the same passport 2 year ago and he's from edo state but can speak Yoruba fluently, he has Benin rep, girl and they were caught in the same place as Mr Igboho, he spent only 3 days in immigration detention and after settlement he was released and the P. Was seized. That's all. So this one is in for negotiations and once the both parties agreed he will land in abuja. That's fact.

When the borders were closed, the President of Benin republic came to Abuja to beg Buhari, our President refused. Now, they are begging Benin to release Igboho.
You should also not forget that Benin wil do whatever the French government tells them over whatever nonsense promises Nigeria makes.
Let's see what plays out, but know that the Beninoise have ties with Yorubas. In fact Boni Yayi former Beninoise President still comes to Abeokuta till today.
