We’re looking to hire Cash Reconciliation Officers who can carry out day-to-day cash reconciliation functions. Candidates applying for the role should be highly organized and must perform multiple tasks for different teams/clients at the same time.


JOB DESCRIPTION
Disbursement of petty cash to staff for Minor office expenses after approval from Head of units.
Bookkeeping and recording of such expenses on a spreadsheet.
Maintain a filing record for all receipts generated from petty cash expenses.
Book journal entries to show the movement of petty cash from the cash book after approval of the additional transfer.
Receive and record payment collected on cash sales from the Cash reconciliation team, after a confirmation most have been performed with customer sales invoices.
Daily deposit of cash received from all sales invoices from customers to the Companies bank account.
Book journal entry to record the movement of Cash in hand to Bank account.
Perform Check and Balance. Maintain an accurate balance in the cash book spreadsheet at all times, making sure that Cash in Hand is the same as Cash balance in Zoho Book.
A daily report of Cash in hand figures to Head of Account payables at each Close of Business.

JOB REQUIREMENT
Proven work experience as a Cashier or Teller in a Banking industry
Excellent computer skills (MS Office in particular).
Hands-on experience with any Accounting software.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.
B.Sc in Accounting, or any other relevant field.
