Di Maria wasn't really a flop @ man utd, just didn't perform to his standards and that's because of injury....
Morata wasn't a starter @ Real madrid and Juve but chelsea expected him to start performing wonders as the main striker...no be juju be that
And finally, Danilo was never a good player for madrid, i don't even know why city payed that huge sum for him..

so, stop trying to agend any agenda.... tongue

The fact remains that no player in the Manchester united squad has won the UCL, except Juan Mata, and he had that experience at Chelsea lol.

I don't think that Man City regretted buying Danilo. He came cheaper in the first place, and played a prominent role in achieving their back to back EPL titles.

He was sold in an attempt to reduce the average age of the team when the right offer came.

Di Maria didn't flop...
Di Maria flopped bid time at Utd but i guess it was due to the coach instruction as he was always seen trying to play crosses into d box, even when he could have gone for goal himself.

Rather, Van Gaal was just too stubborn...He was playing very well when he joined until Mr. Philosophy decided to start imposing his archaic ideas on the players...

Oga Remove Danilo from that list. U guys like writting rubbish sometimes. What made Danilo a flop in Man.City? The bought him to serve as Backup for Walker, and he even performed more than expected.

He had a decent season with ManU after the Newcastle debacle and had a decent performance with 17 crucial goals in over 50 matches
Beancounter94:
Owen's case was simple. The Magpies were taking a risk buying him, and they knew it. Even back then it was plain to see that Owen's best days were behind him at the point he went to St james' park

They just bought him for what he was , not for who he was at that moment.

Yes he did. (After all Ferguson is a good coach) but he was not the Owen he was when he was at Liverpool.

Maria just wasn’t really into this games at United hence the flop. Funny enough he won club's player of the month award for September after two goals and two assists in his first four games. Then he started playing rubbish

That’s because manU has plenty inconsistent and average players with plenty initial gragra, childish attitude and over bloated egos.
