KPMG is a well-known financial services organization, is now looking for qualified candidates for the position of Head of Operations.

Overview  

Our client is searching for a Head of Operations who will be responsible for overseeing and developing all of the company's processes and procedures.
Competencies Skills
Responsible for building up the operations workflow process and taking the required steps to ensure that the organization's operations run smoothly. 
Effectively monitor operations to ensure a smooth flow of information and those activities to be completed quickly and efficiently.
Establish and review key operational risk indicators/necessary control standards and action plans to reduce the organization's risk.
Support the business in identifying areas of operational risk exposure and creating and implementing corrective action to manage the organization's risk exposure.
Check that all operational norms, standards, and regulations are followed by creating, updating, and managing the organization's operations handbook.
Create, update, and manage the organization's operations handbook and ensure that all operational rules, standards, and regulations are followed.
Reengineering business processes to increase customer service, cost-effectiveness, and controls is your responsibility.
Ascertain that the organization's operations are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Verify for adequate documentation, such as user guides and operational improvements to reduce operating expenses, tighten controls, and improve service quality and customer happiness.
Work with line managers to identify best practices and ensure the seamless operation of each department.
Supervise and coordinate organizational procedures and formulate and communicate ideas for improving administrative operations to management.
Evaluate transactions and reports for accuracy and clarity to assess employee activities and performance.
Maintain client trust and avoid breaking the law by enforcing conformity to financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or any other business-related discipline is required.
A master's degree or a master's degree in business administration is an advantage.
Professional certification such as ACIB, CFA, PMP, ISO9001
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a similar capacity
Good leadership skills
Translate regulatory requirements into operational strategies and activities.
Good knowledge of project Management software, Microsoft office tools and financial reporting software.
Excellent financial expertise, including an awareness of finance best practices and international accounting and financial reporting standards (IFRS/ International Financial Reporting Standards).
Vital strategic planning, problem-solving and execution skills
Capacity to act with honesty, competence, and discretion.
