Nigeria’s Nwankwo to join Harry Kane at Tottenham

Nigerian striker, Simy Nwankwo, could be playing next to Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur next season.

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are targeting Nwankwo as a possible partner for Kane.

Tottenham’s new technical director, Fabio Paratici, is keen to add more firepower to Spurs’ attack as the Premier League side targets another striker to provide support for the England captain.

Nwankwo caught the eye of Tottenham after scoring 20 goals in 38 Serie A league matches for relegated Crotone last season.

The 29-year-old forward has also been linked with Udinese, Genoa, Torino and Lazio.

Simy is expected to leave Crotone in this summer transfer window.

His agent, Vincenzo Morabito, recently admitted that his client could be heading to the Premier League despite considering staying in Serie A.

Morabito said, “His preference is for foreign countries; eventually, we will consider offers from the upper-middle-range Serie A club.

“We are therefore working mainly on the English market, where the clubs are economically more solid and can offer important figures both to Crotone and to the player. He deserves a championship like that.

“Let’s see what happens in the next few weeks. At the moment, I repeat, the most concrete track is the one that leads to the Premier League.”

hope England no go finish his carrier. Simy plays same game style as Kane. Both can't be used at same time.

he should wait n stay until kane is sold because both cnt play together.. kane would always prefer a linkup with son than this simmy and that means simmy might be coming from bench when d season settles..
its better he stays with Crotone in seria b o move to a smaller italian clubs dt are bidding in seria a than coming to EPL with d hope of benching kane because it would b difficult seeing both starting together
