The thing wey dey pain me pass be say.... some people fit swim from Bayalsa state reach Lagos state non stop just to rob people for ocean or highjack vessels/boat for high sea/rivers ... but we no get one single swimmer for Olympic.....We get gun men and shooters all over Nigeria, but we do not have contestants for all those shooting games....

They are trying, unfortunately they cant win those folks with 11 seconds to their name. The best they can do with such time is 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th with such time unless they reduce it as much as possible going into the final race.

So who told you she ran her best? This is heat. She just needed to qualify. She ran 10.63 last month.

But blessing has been fastansic since her debut. But others I can say much about them
Who disappointed most is oshonaike and quadri. No improvement from their last outing as if they didn't train before the Olympic. Their opponents were far superior to them.

They might even take 3rd because Sherica Jackson ran 10.77 her personal best beating Elaine Thomson during their qualifying . She can beat Dina Asher Smith of UK, Ahoure, and Maria -Josee Ta Lou of Ivory Coast.

Shacaari Richardson of US was banned for 1month just before Olympics started. She could've challenged the Jamaicans. Their only rival is Asher Smith.

Let's hope Okagbare can get 3rd position. But the chances are slim.

The reason we lack accountability in this country is the blanket blame we keep seeing everywhere.

Government is not a human being
Government is not a man nor a name of a person.

There are people given the responsibility to make sure things are done well in the sports sector.

Number one is the Sport minister = Dare
Number 2 are the Olympic committees for Tokyo 2020

These are the people we should hold responsible.

Let them tell us why our athletes are failing here and there.

The Athletes already complained that the committee caused the whole mess.

Can we put a name to those in this committee?

Everything is not Buhari, Jonathan, Sanwo Olu bla bla bla

People were given jobs to do, hold these people responsible, this is the only way to get accountability!
