Court Throws Away Okorocha’s Motion To Stop Imo APC Congress

An FCT High Court sitting in Maitama Abuja, presided by Justice Valentine Origi has declined to a motion filed to stop the Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State.

Senator Rochas Okorocha, acting through a proxy via one Okay Anikwa, had approached the FCT High Court seeking an injunction to stop the APC from holding its Congress in Imo State slated to begin this Saturday 31st July, 2021.

By this judgment, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State has been given clearance to proceed with the Congress as scheduled.

Any candidate fielded by APC in any election by this Congress as organised by the present interim national exco is disqualified ab initio. As it stands APC is more or else disqualified from the Anambra elections. All that is needed to be done is join Mai Buni in an election suit challenging the qualification of APC to present a candidate and the party is done with.
