For President Muhammad Buhari, the aura which endeared him to majority of Nigerians is his self acclaimed incorruptible nature and strong disdain for indiscipline. And it is on this wave of anticorruption that he rode to electronics electoral victory in the 2015 general elections.
So it's quite a shocker to find out that the administration which pride itself as incorruptible has been ridden by high profile cases of corruption by members of its administration.
What is more appalling, is the fact that the individuals saddle with the responsibility of spearheading the war against corruption and indiscipline have all been fingered in one or more scandalous corruption cases from the first case of Babachir Lawal which Nigerians thought would be a one-off incident to the fraud case of Mr Obono-Obla. In an attempt to probably out do itself it was a big shocker to the nation when Ibrahim Magu, the head of the anti graft agency the EFCC was removed from office on the allegations of fraud and corruption while Nigerians are still trying to come to terms with the news reports filtered into the nation media space that highly celebrated super cop Csp Abba Kyari has being indicted in a United States court as being part of disgraced and arrested Instagram celebrity fraud syndicate of Mr Abbas aka Hushpuppie. And this incidences makes one wonder if the President Buhari regime is trying to fight fire with fire for who else is more fit to fight corruption and indiscipline than the indiscipline corrupt man? For he knows all the sharp practices.
The President Buhari administration has to take a stand and use Csp Abba Kyari as a scapegoat to show the world that it does not tolerate indiscipline and corrupt practices or else it will go down in history as the administration that fought the war against indiscipline and corruption with indiscipline and corruption.
