I got this SMS message from Jobberman. The content looks suspicious to me, but the sender was "Jobberman". No phone number and message cannot be replied. I guess it's one of those dedicated bulk sender messages whatever. But since Jobberman is a popular job listing site i judge to be reputable, i said let me give it a trial.

I clicked the link and it took me on a very long 1 second trip straight to WhatsApp. The number on the other end was 09031993137. It was a WhatsApp business account and the name on the profile said Alika Agbani but the picture was that of a beautiful woman looking so fresh like a foreigner. My 5th sense started buzzing me, and the voice in my head said, This one na scammers oh, them wan run you street.

But my curiosity pushed me to continue. Let's see the trick this prospective scammer has up "her" sleeves. So i sent a message that i got a message for "her" WhatsApp.

She soon replied stating her name and she worked for Feeling Network Technology Studio. What company has that kind of a strange name? I don't even know when the laugh burst out from my mouth. This scammerrs sef, which one be Feeling network technology studio.

But still, i said let me have benefit of doubt and continue. So i texted "her" back my age. Then next she replied that i was qualified for the part time job, that I will help them login to software to activated. Why most scammers always have bad grammar i don't understand cheesy.

Anyway, she offered instant 500 naira daily pay for this part time job of "login software activated". At that point, i was 100% sure it was a scammer at the other end of my chat, but i politely declined and said i don't want to join.

Next she replied, Ok, and blocked my number. But i had already screenshot her picture and details from the beginning which you can see for yourself below. That's how God saved me from scammers this blessed Sunday. But my question now is that, have scammers taken over Jobberman or what? How did they manage to send text message with Jobberman name? Can someone explajn for me, thanks!

The name of that company alone ehn v grin
By the way, I don't think it was Jobberman... Since it's an SMS, it could have been anyone (a scammer) using bulk SMS to deceive people.
A receptionist wont use such picture as her profile picture when dealing with her office related activities.
Nice one! You made the idiot sad! cheesy

Unfortunately, anyone can send a bulk SMS using another company's name... Some networks like MTN would not deliver the message if some filtered texts are contained in the message, but that doesn't stop you from faking a Brand's identity

Let them be insulted! Majority of them don't take good care of themselves. They concentrate on face alone. That's why I don't watch black porn.
What kind of scammer throw just a paltry N500 bait to their victims anyway?

It's possible some people will fall for it because maybe like 85% Nigerians are below the poverty line, Free N500 is like 100K for some people and the desperation to end their joblessness is real. But a scammer that preys on the poor is a heartless evil soul

Received mine today. But like I’ve taught myself: if it’s too good to be true, then it’s really too good to be true.

Lalasticlala Mynd44 this info needs to get out to the public. There's obviously an organized ring of professional scammers trying to scam the masses with Jobberman identity.
