Now that you are in here because you're a hate-zombie, did you know that all of the drinkable non-salinated water in the Niger Delta (rivers) comes through (Niger River) or begins (all over rivers in the Niger Delta) in Igbo land from Igboland?

Niger river is shallow? lol, how deep does a body of water need to be to support a boat and how deep is the Niger River? Did you know that boats float on water or what? lol

Here's is a the MSC Oscar Container Ship on the Rotterdam port

MSC Oscar is the largest container boat in the world, and can carry 19,224 standard containers at once

Rotterdam port is 24 meters deep
River Niger is 30 meters deep

Niger delta that floods everytime it rains will not block a river that will drown out human life from half of the region. I'm just having fun biko. They're saying that if Igbo people start shipping using the Niger River, Niger Delta people will block River Niger (that haven't given a reason for this 'block' either) lol. They keep saying it will be Ijaw people that block it too. I don't think they know any other group so Goodluck has really put his half people (half Igbo half Ijaw) on the map

Compared to imo river , orashi river and some others it's too far inland ...the best place for a port in Igbo land is imo river via abia state ....it's less than 25km to the ocean ?

How is the Niger river that empties into the atlantic too far inland? But a port can be put in both places. Imo would need to be dredge for depth, Niger River is perfect as is. Cross River would be even better than Imo which you can port at Arochukwu or in the Arochukwu area.

Imo river at abia state don't need dredging , it's closer to the ocean than Port Harcourt, warri and Calabar port ....how many km is onitsha from the ocean ? Compare that to less than 25km in abia

ok yes, I just looked at the map and you're right, daalu.

Onitsha is not the only Igbo city or landmass that touches Niger River. Obiigbo is the furthest south an at Agbor even further north than that it splits in two.
