We cannot run state police without resources to cater for their needs. This simply means that if we are going to have state policing system, states have to control their resources as well.

The north will never allow that because most of the states in Nigeria depend on Niger Delta petrodollars to meet their financial obligations.

Hunters are allowed to carry shotguns and AK-47s to protect farmers but amotekun should use wooden guns and batons to fight Fulani herdsmen abi. The day southerners will have sense is the day true change will be felt in scam-Nigeria.
