post=104380152: Thank God you did not insult or curse anyone today, so I will reply in kind. I agree with your assertions, one of the main reason for all these agitations, be it Biafra Oduduwa or whatever they are called is because of a sense of alienation. There are many ways the government can make Nigerians have a sense of belonging, love Nigeria, fight for Nigeria and even die for the betterment of Nigeria. We will be deceiving ours by thinking that what we have today is truly a united Nigeria. There is soo much hatred, in fact we have never hated and mistrusted each other like this before. If three years of brutal civil war did not stop Biafran agitation, the arrest and even death of Nnamdi Kanu certainly will not, and same applies to Oduduwa, niger delta and others. The reason for this, is that these agitations are ideogical, it's fuelled by this sense of marginalsation, being sidelined and being under represented in government posts. The solution I believe is that the government should change its approach to agitations, in as much as I believe in rule of law, the government initial of using the military against Kanu and Igboho may not be the best. Why can't the government engage these agitators in some sort of dialogue? Talking is never a sign of weakness, it's rather a sign of maturity, seriousness and strength of character. As an Igboman, I am of the opinion that 10% of Igbos ability to take this nation a greater night's has not been tapped, and this applies to other tribes too, but no one can give his best where he feels cheated and alienated. Mandela was in prison when the white apartied government started talking peace with ANC, Nigerian government can do same. |

This government is the most useless in history. What's the use of all these schemes if not to syphon funds? You're claiming to share money to people whereas that money would've been put to better use in improving electricity or other social amenities |

post=104380152: Well said sir My Opinion has always been that much more can be done even with the little we are making as a nation. It's not about APC or PDP. Let's be truthful to ourselves, there is too much wastages and yes I have see it and I believe we all do. God will not just kill all the bad and evil people because that's what we want. If we don't create opportunities for them, we all no go get peace oooo... God bless you sir |
