PDP Governorship Aspirants Must Uphold Anti-open Grazing Law –ngbede by Dovegrey: 6:20am On Aug 04, 2021
The expanded caucus of the
Benue State chapter of the
Peoples Democratic Party, on
Tuesday, resolved that all
gubernatorial aspirants must
commit to upholding the state anti-open grazing law if elected.

The state chairman of the party,
John Ngbede stated this while
moving a motion for a vote of
confidence on the state Governor,
Samuel Ortom.

Ngbede said that the only
panacea to the constant invasion
of Benue communities and
occupation of the land by Fulani
herders was the sustenance of
the anti-open grazing law.

Ngbede stated this at the New
Banquet Hall of the government
house, Makurdi.

In his address, Ortom said that
PDP was waxing stronger with
the array of defectors from the
All Progressives Congress, and
other political parties to the party.
