Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc., has signed memorandum of understanding with United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland recently in Switzerland.



UNESCO Laureate, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, Vice Chancellor, Dr Ahure Innocent Tivlumun , Director, for Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc., and Kaizen Youth Project of the IHRC, Geneva, Switzerland respectly resolved that the partnership for Credit Transfer, Reciprocal Arrangement would entail training and research at all level of studies.


UNESCO Laureate, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu while speaking with journalists after the signing disclosed that the objective for the Memorandum of Understanding is to articulate better education.

"In the context of this Memorandum of Understanding, the word “Partnership” shall apply to all activities arranged and carried out by common agreement between the Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc. and United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerl and the mutual benefit of both parties.

"The partnership shall include the following aspects:Training for capacity building in identified areas of special need that has been approved by Crown University Intl Chartered Inc. to United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland at Diploma and Advance Diploma level in which their credits can be transfer to obtained Degree from Crown University Intl Chartered Inc. through full time, part time, Distance Learning Programs and online studies such as: Humanities, Arts, Technologies, Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Pure and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Management Sciences and other related courses as well apart from other special areas that United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland students can have their certificates at Crown University through training at United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland as a foundation programs for their Degree programs in those field of studies. There shall be Diploma and Advance certifications and top up degree arrangements between to United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland on undergraduate and graduate programs on a credit transfer-based criterion established by Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc. for United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland as affiliated Institute of Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc. The exchange of staff and students for training and research or for other assignment as the case may be; The joint organization of research projects, seminars, workshop, international conference, and colloquia and other training sessions likely to strengthen both Universities.

"Students from United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland must meet all other admission and transfer criteria documented in the then-current Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc. catalog. Developing mutual consultancy and support activities for the advancement of teaching and research; The use of laboratories, classroom space, and other research facilities.



"All United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland students who are studying in the areas of Humanities, Arts, Technologies, Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Pure and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Management Sciences and other related courses as well complete their programs at Crown University Intl Chartered Inc. Constituent Campuses such as Americas, Liberia, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic, and other affiliated campuses, shall receive a degree as dual degree or top up degrees based on the articulation agreement established between both parties. Development of curriculum, manuals and other documents for; improving and streamlining procedures and practices and depends on available courses and the choice of the students of the parties. Establishing further forms of cooperation in all fields of studies for mutual interest.





"The two Institutions shall therefore undertake Pursue regular exchange of their respective practices and methods in training and research and other field’s common interest; Intensify discussion between their staffs to look for solutions to the problems of either or both parties; Deploy all necessary efforts to ensure funding of activities from this partnership.



Implementation, Financial resources and materials shall be provided by both parties to look for solutions to its problems or to train its staffs. The two parties agree to organize annual consultative meetings using appropriate technology to aim at appraising the implementation of this partnership, monitoring activities being carries out and at planning future activities. Extraordinary meetings may be convened at the initiative of one of the parties to treat issues that need urgent solutions.


"United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland shall pay any tuition charged by Crown University Intl Chartered Inc. per student for all applicable Degrees. Transfer students must submit their Transcripts from former Institutions to Crown University Intl Chartered Inc. and any tuitions charged by United Nations body, IHRC-HREF, Geneva, Switzerland per student shall be paid by Crown University Intl Chartered Inc. as well. This partnership is valid for period of five years from the date of signature and can be renewed by tacit consent. At the request of one of the parties, the terms of this partnership may be amended during an extraordinary meeting duly convened for this purpose.

"Any misunderstanding resulting from the implementation or interpretation of this partnership shall be resolved amicably and through consultation in the best interest of both parties. The suspension or termination of this partnership shall be done on the initiative of one of the parties, subject to, at last prior notice of six months. However, the parties hereby undertake to complete any ongoing activity at the time of the said termination within a stipulated deadline.


Conclude the present Cooperation Agreement with the purpose of cooperation establishment in the field of education and science, regulation of academic collaboration, joint research and exchange programmes.



"Scope of the Agreement, Academic exchange of research and teaching staff with the aim of training, conducting lectures, fulfillment of joint academic activities. Organization of joint conferences and seminars on agreed subjects, exchange of scientific information, providing opportunity for Universities staff to publish scientific articles as well as the results of joint scientific and research activities in specialized editions and scientific publications of Universities. Joint participation in international academic programs, fulfillment of joint research projects in frames of international grants. Development of exchange programs for students and post-graduates with the purpose of training, research, language and industrial practice. For each program of cooperation parties conclude additional agreement that define responsible staff members, terms, financial resources and other conditions of their accomplishment", he added.
