When Bayern won the UCL during COVID, Kimmich played as a RB with ThiagoXGorzetka combo in the double pivot.

The point I'm trying to make is this...

1) Gorzetka plays well against Barca but he's not a very good midfielder if you watch closely. He's very stiff, can't turn quickly, doesn't really break lines with passes. He's decent and nothing more.

2) He'll bench Gavi but won't bench Pedri or Dejong.

I don't think he'll bounce back because that's his ceiling. If a DM is signed, he'll be third choice then eventually he'll be sold to Dortmund or a trip to Saudi.
