This same minister talking has a percentage of the #4 billion he is going home with, likewise the IG and that's how it trickles down until it is fully embezzled and only a little fraction will be used for fuelling the said police vehicles. That's how they ball. God save this country. |

Not about their poor salary, or including maintenance of vehicle, you cannot fuel vehicles that has broken down or that will need repairs. Besides, I have never heard that just to fuel vehicles of the military and other paramilitary, it has to be announced to the whole world except the Police. The money will not even get to the Police, people that matters will trim it, share it and give little to the Police authority who will also see it as national cake, eat and keep quiet while people blame it on the Police they see on the street, that is how bad. |

You live in Nigeria but seems to believe what's comes out of the Federal government. Non of that money will be used to fuel the patrol vehicles of the NPF. The money will be shared in Abuja there |

There will be a day when death, with swift wings and unforgiving talons, will come for all of them. There shall be no one to help or save them then...... |

I think that's too small. I remember while in school, police used to tax all black markerters 1ltr of petrol each to fuel their patrol cars in that town. One day I asked a policeman why they did that he said there was no provision for buying fuel for their patrol vehicles and that either they used their own money to fuel it or tax the black marketers. Sad! |

miteolu: why won't 4billion be approved for fueling when the only purpose of those toyota hiluxes and ford rangers is to cruise around a 2020 Landcruiser and 2021 G-wagon front and rear with guns pointing out the window when the armored boxes parked at bus stops and garages already have flat tires and the police boys have turned it into a house. Then one animal wearing agbada will say they're fighting insecurity. |
