I almost didn't watch this video clip because the singer looked way too beautiful to also have talent, in my male chauvinistic opinion. Boy was I wrong, and boy am I glad I did give this song a listen.

Benedetta Caretta might not be a household name just yet, but this 24-year old Italian beauty can sing up a storm, and look damn good doing it. If you do not fall in love with this woman by the time this song is halfway through, kindly alert your family doctor to check your vital signs just as a precaution to be sure that you are still in fact alive.

Unchained Melody, originally made famous by the Righteous Brothers in the 1960s, happens to be an extraordinarily difficult and technically demanding song for any vocalist to tackle, but when performed flawlessly, is capable of taking one's breath away.

I've never heard the term "studio honeyed", but presumably it refers to the use of Autotune. I looked up this woman on Wikipedia, and it does mention that she trained her voice extensively, so your guess is as good as mine regarding whether or not she uses Autotune.

Regardless of whether this is her natural voice, she does raise goosebumps on my skin with the soaring beauty of her voice.

I agree her voice is magical. It just seemed to me over-produced. I don't know. It reminded me of the 10CC song "I'm not in Love." Not the voice obviously, but the production. I got that vibe from her voice.
