A heart-wrenching video, which went viral on social media, had hundreds of young Afghan nationals running alongside a US military aircraft as it prepared to take off from Kabul.

Distressing visuals of people desperately trying to get out of Kabul have surfaced all over social media.

In a disheartening video, hundreds of young Afghan nationals were seen running along a US Military Aircraft on the runway as it was about to take off from the Kabul airport.

Sources said the young nationals mostly comprised people who had helped the American government in Afghanistan. Some among them were translators who helped US when they were in control of the nation.

Khushall Khan, one of the US translators in Kabul, mentioned some of the people seen running in the video, were apparently ditched by the US government and were not taken out of the country as promised.

PEOPLE CRASH TO DEATH
Two people who had tied themselves to the wheels of an aircraft flying from Kabul fell down.

In a video shared on Twitter by Tehran Times, an aircraft could be seen flying over Kabul. Two people could be seen dropping from the aircraft as it advanced.

Thousands of Afghan nationals thronged to the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul to leave Afghanistan as the Taliban takes hold of the country. As the crowds mobbed the airport's tarmac, US troops fired in the air, reports said.
