Ibrahim Mantu, the former Deputy Senate President, was buried in Abuja in the early hours of Tuesday, August 17. Prayers for the deceased were performed in the Sheikh Khalid mosque in Abuja, where family members, friends, and political allies had gathered.Dimeji Bankole, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, were among the luminaries that attended the funeral.
