It is a false claim!
The word 'zoning' is southeast talking point.

The question: why is southeast always be talking about zoning the presidency in Nigeria?
And the short answer is zoning it is the only way southeast person can get to the presidency.

Furthermore, it is because Nobody outside southeast will vote to elect someone from southeast to the presidency of Nigeria mainly because they are selfish and are unwilling to share power.

And the people of southeast often talk of Nigeria as belonging to ibo, Yorubas and Hausas.

And they think ibo tribe is majorty in Nigeria. That is a lie. Nigeria has no single tribe that is majority. However, I will admit some tribes are bigger than others, but that doesn't make majority.

Democracy and zoning are opposite each other. Why would you have election and zoning at the same time?

I figured advocate for zoning don't think it that way .

So, I write to advice the people of southeast to stop talking about zoning issues because 1999 constitution of Nigeria has stated how the presidency of Nigeria will be produced.

Don't forget ibos voted to approve 1999 constitution of Nigeria. Just saying!
