I knew of many guys back in school that didn't have bags, not to talk of writing materials


Any guy when get text book that year na serious student, na those unserios boys go still the text book and peel the back cover and convert it to their own few days to exams

The simple reason it was like that is that most guys were not using school bags those days unlike girls whose dressing won't be complete without their bags. Guys either carry their books in the hands or fold them and keep in their back pockets

Boys are rough.

Though I didn't attend a mixed school. It was an all girls school from primary to secondary but I know boys are naturally rough, that's why.

It's in boys gene to be rough

Almost all the girls in school go to school with handbag. Their books are always in their bags. Guys always ...you can complete the sentence

About 2 weeks to exam,We go just thief one girl own,tear am anyhow so e go look like boy own as we no dey even copy notes sef
Funny enough,I was usually top 5 in my class

It was so bad that girls started writing their names with permanent markers on every 10 pages of their textbooks

not true, all my textbooks were wrapped with old calendar or newspaper cos I have siblings that were queuing to use the textbook.

Unlike today, na same textbooks from generation to generation

me i go even use may textbook pages make paper car.........lmao

Lol...a funny incident happened when I was in secondary school. At the beginning of a new term, our teacher asked us to bring out our books that she/he wanted to check them out. Some of us were excited cos we wanted to impress with how new and intact our books were, as per careful students.

Omo come see gobe oo. If the teacher opened your book and it was still new, you have case to answer, as in punishment. If they opened it and it was old and worn out, you were commended as reading and using your books. It was a reverse psychology that I found awkward those days. I still get amuses whenever I remember that incident..
