Biography Of Dj Kotech

Akpore Eguono Love (born 04 May 2001), known professionally as Dj Kotech (sometimes stylized as Kotech joor), is a Nigerian disc jockey and a blogger. Dj Kotech signed a record deal with Mighty Men Empire (M.M.E) in 2016. He rose to prominence after releasing “Good Times” followed by “Oga Sars“. In February 2018, Dj Kotech won his first award “Top Naija Music Award” under the category of “Best Dj” for the year 2017. Kotech, his first single “Bad Oh” was released in “September 2017” featuring Rhino Milli. Dj Kotech left M.M.E in 2019 before the label fold up.

Early life:
Akpore Eguono Love (Dj Kotech) was born to the family of Late Mr Jonathan Akpore and Mrs. Victoria Akpore in Ughelli, Delta state. Nigeria. At an early age, he had the dream of becoming a footballer but his dream of playing football dies off due to lack of support from his parents. Dj Kotech pursue a high school education at Zenith International College, Ughelli. He then further his higher education where he study Fine and Applied Arts at Delta State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He later did his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ohafia, Abia state.


Career and success:
DJ Kotech started his professional disc jockey career in 2016 by performing at various birthday, shows and school welcome parties.

In 2017, DJ Kotech joined Mighty Men Empire as M.M.E official DJ. DJ Kotech released his first single “Bad Oh” alongside renowned Nigerian artist Rhino Milli.

At the 2017 edition of Top Naija Music Awards, held in Lagos, DJ Kotech won Best DJ. He was also featured at the 2018 NYSC orientation camp, Abia State where he become the head dj during the events.

Personal life:
After so many heart breaks, he decided to put a stop on his search. He is also the nephew of Nigerian Army General, Gen. Umusu.
