no number was linked thats why they give me the option to put last password i can remember which i did and still say cant verify

I have experienced this same issue n I later rectified it. My iPhone went black , had to buy a new one n tried logging in my emails to my app, n it wrote same thing because I forgot my password n resetting showed this .but it’s a small challenge. If I could do it then , I can do it again
