1-YEAR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING VACANCY FOR TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING UNDERGRADUATES

PAS Solar Limited provides affordable energy to off-grid households and micro-businesses in Nigeria with head office in Abuja and branches across 8 states in Nigeria. We require the services of a Field Technicians(1year industrial trainee) responsible for installations of off-grid energy equipment (Solar Panels/Equipment Installations).

Job Title: Trainee Field Technician (Solar Installation)

Location: Asaba

Employment Type: 1 year industrial training

• This role requires travels within the assigned territory or based on customer locations (site).
• Field Technician will be deployed to site to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• An incumbent must be able to manage service calls that requires more time than anticipated without becoming frustrated or rushing through a job.
• Selected candidate is expected to possess superb customer service skills and ability to diagnose and solve problems from non-technical descriptions provided by the customers.
• Provide customer service and support during field visits and tie workflow to schedule to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Manage all on-site installations, maintenance, and testing to ensure proper documentation of all related processes.

Qualifications: Polytechnic students in technical or engineering disciplines, desiring to do their 1 yr industrial training in Asaba.

Minimum Education:: ND, HND undergraduates due for their 1 yr I.T

Requirements: Must be able to ride a bike and must be must be resident in Asaba during the period of the I T.

Monthly stipend: ₦15,000 with phone call cards with a fuelled motorcycle for riding to work.
