Useless grammar all the type. It's always the southerners that like to play the nonsense maturity or diplomacy. The northerners don't phucking care.
We need to stop this stinking attitude in the south and come to the reality that we are entirely different people and it will be best to live separately.

Aliyu, Danjuma, Babangusa, Saliu, Kyari and other Almajari names cannot claim to be same with Omoluabis like Oluwatosin, Oluseyi, Oluwafunke, Sangotade, Ogunmefun or my brothers from another mother Chinyere, Chukwudi, Obinna, Peterside, Ekerrette, Akpan, e.t.c.

Almajaris who were born by the roadside by destitute parents cannot be classified with any Southerner

Whether stereotype or fact, must we remain in one entity called Nigeria without calling for negotiation or dialogue if we should continue with the abusive marriage in the name of being one? honestly I don't know why some people still pretend not to be seeing the trouble we go through daily in trying to remain one against the Will of certain people in many quarters....my opinion though...

Your big grammars alone is enough to put off potential readers of this your long article

Now to the point you raised, the problem isn't having and keeping to ones identity be it religion or regional affinity. The biggest problem we are having in this country is intolerance fueled by political desperados who out of their desperation
to either grab power or hang on to power or to cover their failures employs the divide and rule tactics by whipping up ethnic, religious or regional sentiments

Frederick, just imagine that you are post mortician, and you ask "after performing this post mortem, why don't we just raise this corpse to life". You are a dreamer and I bet you've never lived in the north before.

What i can see from all the comments is that many of us are tired of one Nigeria or we want unity of Nigeria to renegotiated so that the ethnic groups can together agree and make that make the country united.
Ok if that is the case why shouldn't we boycott the up coming election from holding in south and demand for what want
Because if keep talking, protest on social media nothing will change the north will doing what they doing through senate and house of Representatives if when there's southern president

Of what benefit is that point to Southern Nigeria? To continue being divided at Federal level while hausa and fulani continue being Northerners?

Point out the points and how it benefits the South or A useless point is pointless.

I wonder the problem with Southerners in this country! Why must we keep deceiving ourselves into a nationalism that had failed even in in the days of the founding fathers?
The closest working experiment for this country is regionalism, aside that the nation disintegrates. We are too racial to drop our roots. Every tribe in Nigeria believes in it's supremacy over others no matter how small in number they seems to be, this alone is a panacea for agitation and fighting.
So, let's go on our individual ways to avoid unnecessary bitterness and bloodshed.

From what I understood
A common Nigerian identity is what he was pushing for
This North vs South is becoming very destructive to this country
A rearrangement of the structure in Nigeria is what will ease all of this.

Such a thing is not possible. Nigeria is not a migrant country like the USA, Australia, Argentina etc

Even in Europe, people no dey use their culture play. That's why Catalunya wants to leave Spain, Scotland wants to leave the UK, UK lead by England left the EU, Irish left the UK etc.

If People are still shouting for freedom in a develop Country like Spain, so forget all this talk of Yorubas, Hausa, Efik, Ijaw, Kanuris etc seeing themselves as one.

Only practising a true federalism(not this unitary system of government we are operating) go help this country survive as one.

If nah this same system whereby a president will be forcing his will on everybody, like GMB is doing on the herdsmen issue, and the 3%-30% sharing formula etc... Is just going to be a matter of time, Nigeria might not last for long.

We need to run Nigeria the way the USA is run or we can go the UK way.

Over concentration of power in the central is one of the reason that lead to the collapse of the Soviet Union, Nigeria might not last as long as the USSR before it collapse.

As possible as this may be, Nigeria needs to be restructured into 6 regions with their autonomous constitutions and a federal (national) constitution. The use of these 7 independence constitutions is the only possible way to achieve a truly one united nation of Nigeria built on equity and justice.

You can’t be chasing rat when your house is on fire.

There are more pressing issues far more destructive to this country than Southern vs Northern Nigeria. Some of them being Insecurity, Terrible Economy/Economic Policies, Wanton Abuse of Human Rights and Absence of Rule of Law, Wholistic Corruption in the Civil Service and the Judiciary, Bias Policies that actually favors the North while setting back the South, and many more. The North vs South can never have a negative effect at the same magnitude of severity on the masses as the above listed. If for anything, the North vs south should be a welcomed ideology because it will serve to put various regions on a path of progression that favors them without having a severe negative impact on another.

Unless you’re a benefactor of the economic and political injustice playing out in Nigeria today, you should support and key into the North vs South ideology.

Meaningless kindergarten composition from my money seeking Igbo brother.

Tell us you are going nonbinary!
You should also expunge names of states, tribal names, lg names.

Remember to expunge your name too, because your tells me you are southerner and Igbo.

You should also most importantly, expunge the nomenclatures - APC, PDP, AREWA, IPOB, OPC, FULANI, MURIC , CAN, HAUSA, IGBO, YOURUBA, KANURI etc.

WHY IS IT THAT THE BLACKMAN IS INCAPABLE OF THINKING!
