The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has fixed Rs. 72.22 per kg as the ex-plant worth of white translucent sugar with the end goal of appraisal of deals charge.

The FBR has given S.R.O. 1027(1)12021 for the obsession of the worth of the locally delivered white translucent sugar.

As of late, the government bureau had concluded that the execution of deals charge on sugar will be at ex-plant cost till November 30, 2021.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suspended the arrangement of deals charge assortment on sugar from the makers based on the retail cost up to November 30, 2021.

The FBR had given a SRO989(I)/2021 for not charging deals charge on sugar under the Third Schedule to the Sales Tax Act, 1990, for a particular time frame period. Passage number 50 of the Third Schedule to the Sales Tax Act, 1990 is identified with the relevance of deals charge based on printed retail cost on sugar aside from where it is provided as a mechanical crude material to drug, refreshment, and dessert shop ventures.
