Seniority, Merit and rank no longer matters in the Nigerian Army. Only one's ethnicity and religion can determine how high one can attain in the military with those of northern Muslim stock (preferably the Fulani) certain for command positions.

Majority of non-commissioned officers are northern Muslims who only see their fellow northern Muslim officers as bonafide officers to be obeyed without question.

The Dhimmī apartheid system in Islam is fully being implemented in the Nigerian Military.

The Dhimmi laws as dictated in the Koran forbid non-Muslims from joining the Army.

So why then are southerners still wanting to join the highly polarized, sectarian and apartheid Military?

You only end up being seen as weak and a traitor to your own people whom you have no powers whatsoever to protect from the tyranny of the Muslim north.

Let me also add that this isn't limited to the military alone as the cucklord levels of the average southerner towards their northern superiors is vastly understated.

For example, in virtually every MDA now you have a northern Muslim appointee with little or no related expertise in the MDA he or she is overseeing. The northern appointee relies on the trousered natives of the south to show them the ropes on the technical aspects of whatever mandate the MDA was set up for.
