Let's be realistic, if ipob decided to go on total Lockdown in the south east, most Nigerians won't care because they won't be affected, but if northern farmers decides to go on total food embargo, the whole Nigeria will suffer.

Only one in five northerners get to eat a decent three square meal everyday.

Ipob lockdown is less effective outside their region because of availability of alternatives whereas food embargo was more excruciating because of the connivance of fg. How you may ask? Border closure and other embargos aside from protecting the nation's economy, is meant to protect the north.

They are not doing it to punish or harm anyone unlike the northern embargo. If you don't understand motivations outside of harm, vengeance and spite then that is between you and the demons crawling inside you.

We don't use yam for fufu. Cassava is the only raw material used in Eastern Nigeria.

The food blockade affected South so much because of the farmer/herders crisis in South , farmers were unable to farm, aside from onions and beans, I don't think there is anything special about nothern farmers
