BREAKING NEWS!

ADO-EKITI | SUNDAY, AUGUST 22, 2021 - EKSG EVACUATES STRANDED EKITI STUDENTS FROM CRISIS SPOTS IN PLATEAU STATE

The Government of Ekiti State has successfully evacuated 28 students who are Ekiti indigenes from crisis spots in Jos, Plateau state following the security challenges that occured in the North Central State during the past week. The operation was carried out with the support of security agencies who provided adequate security cover for the journey from Jos all the way to Ado-Ekiti. All the young Ekiti sons and daughters are in good health, and delighted to be reunited with family members alive and well.

The sensitive mission sanctioned by the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, was led by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and Student Matters, Mr. Moses Ademiloye, who safely returned to Ado-Ekiti, Sunday night with the young indigenes.

On hearing of the plight of the stranded young Ekiti indigenes, Governor Fayemi spared no cost in facilitating the logistics and security required for their safe evacuation in line with the government's commitment to the welfare, safety, and security of all Ekiti indigenes at home and abroad.

One of the affected persons, Miss. Aina Tolulope was ecstatic in her appreciation of the governor's efforts, for coming through for them when they felt all hope was lost, because of the suspension of academic activities, the curfew imposed, and general state of insecurity. "I am very happy to be home, and I am proud to be from Ekiti state, and happy that we have a governor who goes the extra mile to ensure no one is left behind. He has demonstrated expertise in governance, and shown himself to be a father, and a loving person. Thank you Governor Fayemi."

The Government of Ekiti State remains committed to safety, peace, and security in the state, and helping Ekiti indigenes outside the state to the best of our abilities.

Hon. Akin Omole
Honourable Commissioner
Ministry of Information and Values Orientation

That short sighted man who is also brief in height but ironically answering La"long" is a failure to the people of Plateau State.
He revers his position as the Northern Governors Forum Chairman than the people of Plateau.

He is a burukutu sipping failure who knows nothing about governance.

It is a pity that as beautiful as Plateau is they have an unfortunate Governor the same period when we have an unfortunate President in Nigeria.

This is Pantami's plan for Plateau turning to reality, this is the Jihad that Pantami and his fellow terrorists planned for Plateau.

It is unfortunate that it is happening when they have a Fulani slave Governor.

Tueee!!

Is evacuation the best approach?

Is there still ministry of defence in this country?

Why is everyone acting as if this is normal?

These people's education are on hold, we can't just continue like this, why is everyone in power acting normal..where is the governor of Jos, the police stations and army barack in Jo's are on strike?

Nobody is resigning, nobody is getting fired and we are all calm and collected.

Is there still opposition party in Nigeria?
So many questions

That is the best approach to keep his people safe, same ministry of defence that is headed by bandits can't protect the students.

Jos has suddenly turned to Afghanistan.
Feels as if we don't have a President in this country.
Nigeria has simply become too large & diverse for one person to govern from Abuja. We need to go back to regional governments with Premiers. Let the centre be stripped of powers & transfered to the regions.
