Customer Service Representative - Maxtrax Global Technology

With its parent company in the United States, Maxtrax Global also located in Lagos, Nigeria, is now expanding to Abuja. Job Summary:
As a Maxtrax Customer Service team member, you will be responsible for delivering an incredible customer experience by making genuine connections with every customer. You are expected to partner with our customers and other associates to offer solutions that positively influence their overall experience. You demonstrate your passion by staying on top of the latest services and trends within the organization. Operational excellence and customer experience are important aspects of your role, as well as a strong ability to resolve customer concerns in a diplomatic manner. Ability to communicate with and engage customers effectively using a variety of mediums is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:
Welcome customers warmly, identify their needs and initiate referrals to managers if need arises
Take the initiative to find creative approaches that contribute to the ongoing improvement of the overall customer experience
Manage Email and make sure responses are sent in a timely manner.
Preparing dock receipts for customers
Setting Pickup and Delivery Appointments
Managing inbound and outbound calls
Tracking Vessels
Building and Managing Customer and Carrier Relations
Follow compliance processes to ensure that customers’ assets and privacy are safeguarded
Complete standardized tasks under supervision
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years of prior experience required
Post-secondary degree or certification in related field of study
Confident and experienced in the use of computers, online tools, business solutions and applications
Passionate commitment and focus to helping customers
Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers
Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
An aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges
Verbal & written communication skills, organization skills, collaboration & team skills
Task Oriented Mindset and Detail Oriented
Projects a professional presence

This position provides a negotiable pay which will be discussed during the interview.
