The Delta state polytechnic otefe-Oghara, has been shut down for the next two weeks after violence erupted some hours ago between rival cult groups. Trending videos and images show the body of a student being carried in the rain by fellow students after he has attacked by about 8 black clad boys. He was said to have run from his class to another class on sighting them, but was trailed there and mercilessly clubbed and finally hit with a block on his head, after which they left. Reportsalso indicate that there have been reprisal attacks on two other students along staff quarters road Otefe killing both on the spot. The course of the violence is yet to be known as at time of reporting this. Otefe has recently become a hotbed of cult activities and his has prompted the management of the school to close it down for the next two weeks to forestall further violence.
