THE COLLABORATION BETWEN GHANA AND NIGERIA HAS TO BE SUSTAINED FOR THE SOCIO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT (1)

The 5th Ghana - Nigeria Achievers Award held on Saturday 21st August, 2021 at the ultramodern Mikaddo Event Center, Labone - Accra.

Dignitaries including academicians, Traditional rulers, Business personalities, politicians, Health professionals, celebrities and impactful young individuals were in attendance to show support to an event that has passed through several test but has remained solid like the rock of Gibraltar.

After the Award presentation, GNAA Award Recipients were inducted into the Hall of Fame with a medal and certificate of Induction. We hope they continue impacting Humanity. 5 Years Anniversary cake was cut to celebrate consistent commitment to this vision.

The vision behind this initiative is to continuously create a platform that unites Ghana and Nigeria while recognizing the efforts of those who are making impact in society. So far, it has helped in bridging this gap. The two countries can actually achieve more together within the continent if we take out unnecessary rivalry. I called on the leadership of both countries to devise ways of finally putting to an end years of trade issues affecting Nigerians doing business in Ghana. We hope the parliamentary intervention would be fruitful.

On the sideline of the event, we informed Guests that we would be visiting Nsawam Prisons to donate items to the inmates. Many are in there for petty crimes and this is also to fulfill scriptures. It has been our routine for years now. Also, We intend reaching out to a motherless Babies home.We hope that those who made pledges would be able to fulfill.

We would continue to remain focused in spearheading this noble vision as we pray posterity would bear us witness that we played our part well.
Thank you to everyone who supported in anyway to make this a success.
God bless.

Convener, GNAA
