POLICE STORM ABUJA-BASED REALITY SHOW HOUSE AFTER RECEIVING PETITION

You can't make this up. Watch as security operatives stormed the house where housemates of the Royalty Reality TV Show (Game Changer edition), streaming on Pipul TV channel 302 (Hamon Reel). They stated that they had received a petition against the televised/streaming live reality show from an as yet undisclosed source, and forced their way into the house to interrogate the housemates while the show is live on air. The harassments and intimidation is expanding as concerted efforts are being made behind the scenes to stifle Nigerian grown content from rubbing shoulders with existing local pay tv networks.

This attempt to Talibanize Nigeria must be resisted! Folks applauding the police for acting like hisbah needs to be careful because this is a slippery slope. This is how we kept applauding them for arresting suspected fraudsters and now they are badging into people's homes in the wee hours of the night to "fight corruption" when all corrupt politicians in this country are walking free..
