Starting programming, Which should one start from between XHTML and HTML5 . Or can one just learn XHTML and CSS without HTML5. Please I need a reply on this.

They're more like same thing but HTML5 is less strict than XHTML.

XHTML is the older version of HTML.
The lastes t version is HTML5 but CSS u said is used to style the webpage (colors, font etc)

xhtml is the future of html that never and will likely never happen, focus on html5
