While celebrating Akwa Ibom at 30 with the #OrangeSeptember project, we discovered over 204 cuisines of Akwa Ibom origin with the segment of the event tagged #NdidiaNnyin.

Ndidia Nnyin was a tasty display of Akwa Ibom cuisines, a story told in the contemporary world about some of Akwa Ibom's forgotten delicacies.

Against this backdrop, let me commend the ingenuity of our sister, Hon. Eno James, a.k.a Eno Utótó (SA to Governor on Project Monitoring), for bringing back the consciousness of identifying and preparing our native delicacies, an art threatened by westernization.

With her #IbomNativeFoodProject, Eno intends to train Akwa Ibom youths on the preparation techniques of our native delicacies.

At the end of the project, participants who show enough commitment and extraordinary cooking skills will have start-up packs to set up their own food business!

Interested persons should pick up registration forms at LaVic Cuisine, 63 Bennett Bassey Street, opposite Kilimanjaro, off Oron Rd, Uyo, on or before Friday, 3rd September 2021.

Training commences on Tuesday, 7th September 2021, at the same venue.

This training supports the #CompletionAgenda and the Dakkada philosophy, and IT IS FREE OF CHARGE!

For inquiries, call 08072882883 or 08089611929.
