The police in Enugu state had said they have started an investigation on the matter of a farmer who was murdered on his way from his farm. The victim was apprehended and killed by another person from another community.

He was approached while on his way from the farm with his wife. They were on a bike, the killer pushed them off the bike, killed the man but the wife escaped.
