BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!....

CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA FINALLY SIGNED THE CURRENCY_SWAP_DEAL WITH CHINA✍️.

The CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA (CBN) have finally signed the currency swap deal we have been expecting for the past 2 years into existence with the Chinese Government.

The importance of this is that since almost 70% of the goods we import come from #China and #Asia and 12% #America why must we use Dollars to transact with China? from now instead of using dollars at N500 to 1dollar to import those goods, we can now buy #Yuan at 47 naira to 1 Yuan and import those stuffs directly.

INSTEAD OF BUYING THESE GOODS IN DOLLARS IN CHINA, WE WILL NOW BUY THEM IN YUAN WHICH IS 5TIMES CHEAPER DOLLARS.....

As usual, another giant stride which Print Media, Electronic Media and Nigerian looters will not report or allow you to understand this victory over supremacy of dollars in our daily lives and economic activities.

Up coming reality is that from tomorrow, try to monitor exchange rate. Some of those guys who hoarded foreign currencies to make gains will off load them in order not to have heart attack over their huge loss arising from the currency swap deal with china.
Dollars and pounds will flood everywhere with no buyers, as the buyers will draw naira from their accounts in banks with presence in China.

MANY NIGERIAN BANKS WILL BE SEEKING TO HAVE THEIR REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN CHINA LIKE FIRST BANK SAW TO THE FUTURE AND ALREADY HAVE OFFICE IN CHINA...
INFLATION WILL GO DOWN DRASTICALLY BECAUSE OF THE PRICE OF COMMODITIES

Well, if this is true then CBN must be commended.

Nobody cares about the tribe, gender or religion of CBN or it's staff now it has achieved something meaningful for the WHOLE of Nigeria.

But when nepotism, tribalism, and religious fanaticism are made criteria for appointments there will obviously be failures and retrogression.

Gen. Failure continue to work hard towards ammending the monumental failures you entrenched in Nigerian history.

Instead of us to deal with the fact that the only thing we aren't importing into this godforsaken country is oxygen, we are celebrating currency swap with China.

It's only a matter of time before the Naira begins to depreciate against the Yen.

This arrangement is only useful long-term if Nigeria were exporting in equal terms to China.

Even Afghanistan currency is stronger than that of Nigeria. What a shame.

You are talking rubbish. What will the cbn use to defend the naira against the yuan..

We couldn't defend dollar even with dollar earnings from crude...

The government should not be encouraging importation

the only way it favours the Igbo is via yuan availability.. Naira will still lose to the yuan with increased demand for yuan and no demand for naira

Naira to yuan is very costly since early this year.

Also we have been trading naira to yuan since 2019 its not something new.

The below is today rate. Depending on your suppliers rate.
My supplier use 6.5 for today so my exchange for today is #541 as to 1 usd. Why naira to dollar is #537 black market as of today

Actually this isn't good news, since the Chinese economy is actually undervalued and ours is not. We're actually paying china more to import goods into Nigeria. There is a reason ot wasn't signed for more than 2 years
